Today is the day of celebration because India got freedom from British Empire on 15 August,1947. As normal people are wishing "Happy Independence Day" to their relatives, friends , colleagues.
Some people are posting on social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google etc. Its good thing to wishing our liberty, but after this part none is think about what were sacrifice of great people and why they gave sacrifices of their life to get freedom.
Today I also wish "Happy Independence Day" to one of my friend, she also wish me but her reply was different than others. I just write down her words which will inspire everyone to be proud for our country :
"Independence does not mean that just celebrating or wishing. It means you are free to move forward. You are now responsible for your country. Your country is now your responsibility...
To make your country better place to live.
You do not have any restriction of any other to make your work done.
You can work hard to make your country proud.
It's day for celebration because of freedom fighters and people of that time who gave lots of sacrifices to make our life better.so we should work hard and make India proud.so India can have its own identity indront of world.
It's a day to remind our old people who gave responsibility of our Country to New generation - with a hope that -
"Now everyone lives peacefully".
World will know, India is not a place of "Madari"...Its a land of dreams where any one can dream big and have courage to complete it."
Yeah her thoughts are absolutely right and we should celebrate with be proud for India, not just feel proud to being an Indian.
Lets make our country more livable. :)
